WILLIAM
William Lo Giudice, founder of Universal Flow, is a Myotherapist & Remedial Massage Therapist with over 25 years experience in his profession. William has a passion for health and wellbeing and brings a comprehensive approach to his treatments - taking into consideration all possible factors that may bring muscle and joint dysfunction to the human body.

William is a highly competent practitioner, having worked with ‘the every day body’ and professional athletes alike. From the corporate worker, to the tradie, to the home-body, to the weekend runner, right through to professional athletes, William has had vast experience in his profession.

William will help you to identify the cause of your muscle/joint pain, dysfunction and reduced mobility and provide a comprehensive/thorough treatment, inclusive of suggested rehab exercises and stretches - both gym and home protocols.

In addition to treating clients, William has expanded his passion for myotherapy and remedial massage and also teaches up-and-coming remedial massage therapists the Diploma of Massage at one of Australia's leading remedial massage institutes.
MYOTHERAPY
REMEDIAL MASSAGE
Remedial massage is a hands-on therapy which addresses muscle tension, restrictions and imbalances using a combination of soft tissue massage techniques, deep tissue massage and PNF stretching. The 'remedial' aspect meaning - to fix or correct.
Remedial massage aims to identify and repair damaged areas and help the body heal itself. It can also help prevent and manage injuries.
Sessions are typically 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes in length, however 30 and 45 minute sessions are available also.​
Myotherapy is a a type of physical therapy that uses massage and other techniques to treat and prevent pain and restricted joint movement. Such techniques include myofascial release, myofasical cupping, dry needling, mobilisations (MOBES) and muscle energy technique (MET).

This type of physical therapy addresses muscle tension and restrictions efficiently and non-invasively with great results.
Sessions are typically 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes in length, however 30 and 45 minute sessions are available also.

ONLINE CONSULTATIONS
For some people, an in-person session is not practical because of distance or other factors.

It is however vital that we do whatever we can to maintain our bodies to the best of our abilities. For this reason and upon request from clients, I have opened up online tele-health consultations to support you maintain the integrity of your postural health and well-being.
​
This includes anything from postural assessment, a discussion around current injuries and/or muscular restrictions and how to best manage these, rehabilitation exercises and stretches to support your day to day activities and simple movements to incorporate into your life to optimise your well-being.
